Situated on the hillside above the village of Domremy, the Saint-Joan of Arc Basilica is the monument of the French recognition of Joan of Arc. The first stone of the building has been laid on the 3rd November, 1881 close to the place where Joan of Arc said that she heard voices. The architect Paul Sédille was charged to erect the monument.
Overhanging the Meuse, the Basilica is a must-see place for anyone interested in Joan of Arc’s story.
