This little museum contains a number of rare collections. It tells the history of Vittel, from its days as a rural village to its development thanks to the trend for ?taking the waters? that began in 1854. Numerous items and photos show the changes in a village previously typical of Lorraine, as it becomes a small town with some remarkable buildings. The museum also illustrates changes in spa-based health care, the bottling of the mineral water and advertising through the years, with a dozen highly-representative tableaux.
